 Mounting the Aluminum Base on your Boat

Bases can be mounted on your boat in three different ways.

You receive the stainless steel hardware for all three options with each base.

Floor Mount Option #1 – If you can reach under the deck, use two bolts with washers and lock nuts, securing the lock nuts with a wrench.

             OR

Floor Mount Option #2 – If you can’t reach under the deck, use four lag screws, and tighten them securely.  NOTE:  For fiberglass decks make 1/16” starter holes.

          OR

Side Mount – If you can reach behind/inside the gunwale, use two bolts with washers and lock nuts, securing the lock nuts with a wrench. If you cannot reach inside the Gunwale and still want a vertical mount, you can use lag screws and epoxy the screws into the side.
